COACHING

What is coaching?

What is coaching? How does it differ from counselling?

Coaching is a partnership where we work together to clarify your goals, find strategies that suit you, and take practical steps toward the life or career you envision. Think of it as a journey forward, with me by your side, supporting you as you explore possibilities and make meaningful progress. Rather than giving answers, I’ll guide you in finding your own, helping you discover new insights and strengths that can lead to real change. While both coaching and counselling are supportive processes, they have different focuses.

Counselling is often about understanding and healing past experiences to improve mental and emotional well-being. It helps us navigate what’s beneath the surface and process difficult emotions or events.

Coaching, however, is more about the present and future—it’s about where you want to go rather than where you’ve been. Our focus is on actionable steps and growth, helping you find clarity and motivation without delving deeply into past issues. This makes coaching a great fit for those who are ready to take steps toward their goals with compassionate guidance.

If you’re curious about how coaching might support you or if you’d like to chat about where you’re headed, feel free to reach out. I’d be delighted to offer a free assessment session where we can explore your goals and see if coaching feels right for you – use my interactive calendar on this page to book a session or email [email protected].

Through coaching, you can:

Build Confidence: Feel more sure of yourself and your abilities.

Gain Clarity: Break down your goals and see the steps needed to reach them.

Find Your Strengths: Discover and use what makes you unique.

Tackle Challenges: Work through things that feel difficult or overwhelming.

Coaching isn’t about advice or telling you what to do. It’s about working together to find what works best for you.
